Return & Refund Policy

Effective Date: 9/3/2026

HousingShield offers digital educational products, including videos, guides, checklists, templates, sample documents, and other downloadable or online materials. Because these products are delivered digitally and can be viewed, downloaded, saved, copied, or otherwise used immediately after access is provided, all digital product sales are generally final once access to the purchased product has been provided.

1. Digital Products Are Non-Returnable

Unlike physical merchandise, digital products cannot meaningfully be returned once they have been delivered or made accessible. Accordingly, HousingShield does not provide refunds based solely on any of the following (or combination thereof):

  • a change of mind after purchase;
  • deciding that the product is no longer needed;
  • purchasing the wrong product;
  • dissatisfaction with the format, style, level of detail, or educational content when the product was accurately described before purchase;
  • failure to read the product description, limitations, or other information provided before purchase;
  • having already known some or all of the information presented;
  • obtaining similar information or assistance from another source after purchase; or
  • dissatisfaction because a particular dispute, negotiation, legal matter, or other situation did not produce the outcome the purchaser hoped for.

Accessing, viewing, streaming, downloading, or otherwise receiving the purchased digital product constitutes delivery for purposes of this policy.

2. When HousingShield Will Correct a Problem

Although digital product purchases are generally non-refundable, HousingShield wants purchasers to receive what they paid for.

Please contact us at info@mosaiccollaborative.com if:

  • you were charged more than once for the same purchase;
  • payment was successfully processed but HousingShield failed to provide access to the purchased product, AND HousingShield is unable to provide access within 7 days of being notified of such event;
  • the file or digital product is corrupted or technically unusable, AND HousingShield is unable to provide access within 7 days of being notified of such event; or
  • the product delivered is materially different from the product identified in your order.

Whenever reasonably possible, HousingShield will first correct the problem by restoring access, replacing the affected file, providing the correct product, or resolving the technical issue.

Requests involving delivery or technical problems should be submitted within 7 calendar days after purchase so that we can investigate the transaction and access records.

If HousingShield cannot provide the product purchased or reasonably correct a qualifying delivery or technical problem, HousingShield may issue an appropriate refund to the original method of payment.

Duplicate charges verified by HousingShield will be refunded.

Nothing in this policy limits any refund, remedy, or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

3. Educational Products, Not Legal Advice or Representation

HousingShield products are provided for educational and informational purposes only.

Purchasing or using a HousingShield digital product:

  • does not create an attorney-client relationship;
  • does not constitute legal advice or legal representation;
  • is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney when legal advice is needed;
  • does not create a mediator-client, ombuds-client, consulting, coaching, or other professional-services relationship unless those services are separately agreed to;
  • does not guarantee that a particular strategy, communication, negotiation, mediation, court proceeding, or dispute will produce a particular outcome; and
  • is not intended to provide every piece of information or professional assistance that may be relevant to a purchaser’s circumstances.

Housing and dispute-resolution matters can involve facts, deadlines, contractual obligations, local procedures, and laws that vary by jurisdiction and can change over time. Purchasers remain responsible for evaluating their own circumstances and obtaining appropriate professional or legal assistance when needed.

HousingShield’s educational products are intended to help purchasers better understand their options, prepare more effectively, ask better questions, and make more informed decisions. They are not represented as a complete or one-stop solution to every dispute.

4. Results and Outcomes

A purchase is for access to the educational product described at the time of sale, not for a promised legal, financial, negotiation, mediation, housing, or dispute-resolution outcome.

Many outcomes depend on factors outside HousingShield’s control, including the actions of other parties, available evidence, applicable law, contractual rights, deadlines, willingness to negotiate, court decisions, and other circumstances.

The fact that another party refuses to cooperate, a dispute continues, professional assistance becomes necessary, or the purchaser does not obtain a desired outcome does not by itself make a digital product defective or entitle the purchaser to a refund.

5. Personal-Use License

Unless otherwise stated, purchase of a HousingShield digital product provides the purchaser with a limited license to use the product for the purchaser’s own personal or authorized organizational use.

Purchase does not transfer ownership of HousingShield’s intellectual property. Products may not be resold, publicly distributed, published, uploaded for public access, shared with unauthorized users, or reproduced for commercial distribution without HousingShield’s written permission.

6. Billing Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe that you were charged incorrectly or that HousingShield did not provide what you purchased, please contact info@mosaiccollaborative.com so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.

Nothing in this policy prevents a purchaser from exercising any lawful rights available through a payment provider or applicable law. However, HousingShield reserves the right to respond to payment disputes by providing relevant transaction records, including the applicable refund policy, purchase confirmation, delivery records, download or access records, and communications relating to the transaction.

7. Questions Before Purchasing

Purchasers are expected to review the product description, intended audience, included materials, educational limitations, and this Return & Refund Policy before completing a purchase. Failure to do so does not void the purchaser’s obligation to do so, nor the legal responsibilities therein.

Questions about whether a particular HousingShield product is appropriate for your needs may be directed to info@mosaiccollaborative.com before purchasing.
